Battle of Trenton

So he slipped across the Delaware River to surprise Henson troops at Trenton. He went across it at Christmas Eve and easily captured it.

When General Cornwallis heard and went marching down to get Washington. Washington heard and told his men to light the fires and went external image Trenton_Surrender.jpgaround the British Army to capture Princeton. When Cornwallis got to Trenton he saw no men there he heard a gun shot in Princeton and went there.
